The goal of OurEchoChamber is to engage in honest dialogue and thought sharing. I’ll post as often as I think I have something valuable to share, and my hope is that my writing will spark conversations.

The inspiration for this blog comes from the common refrain that the internet is an”Echo Chamber”, a place where people go to strengthen their opinions, block out others, and create a polarized society. In embracing the concept, I’m hoping to turn it on its head. I think in this echo chamber we can reverberate a diversity of ideas, bringing out newer and stronger ones than we came in with.

This relies on thoughtfulness, assumptions of positive intent, and a willingness to engage with challenges. This requires respect. I think we’re all capable of these things. I’m often an optimist, so please prove me right.

I want to make it clear here: I will share my opinions. I do have opinions. This is not an objective news source, but I will stick to the facts to the best of my ability. I look forward to learning from you when you think I fail at that duty.
